Chelsea 0 Liverpool 1 highlights 6/2/11
There's no questions about who is the focal point of Sunday's clash between North and South, Reds and Blues. Fernando Torres. The ex Liverpool striker makes his debut for the blues against none other than the club who offloaded him. The Spaniard's move has drawn up some controversy and ill feeling with Torres taking parting shots at his former associates with claims that "he needed to play for a club who were challenging for honours" and also that he needed to make more appearances. Some shirts bearing his name on merseyside have been burnt in distain for their former hero and he is sure to draw a lot of emotion from the supporters of Chelsea and Liverpool and a lot of boos and cheers. He has stated in report that he won't celebrate if he finds the net against his former employers on Sunday.
Despite Torres' departure from Anfield there was a real lack of gloom as new signings for the reds have given the club new hope and new perspective. Luis Suarez has arrived from Ajax and Andy Carroll from Newcastle. Both acclaimed forwards with good records and Suarez has already been christened by the kop with a goal on his debut midweek against Stoke. The live match takes place at Stamford Bridge and kicks off at 4:00pm on Sunday.
