Chelsea 1 Everton 1 AET (Everton won 4-3 on penalties) highlights 19/2/11
The champions dished out plentiful money in the January transfer window but at the moment it hasn't been reaping any rewards in terms of their form. Fernando Torres hasn't ignited any of his previous scoring form yet and Manager Ancelotti took a gamble by leaving Didier Drogba on the bench in the last match and it didn't pay off as Chelsea were held by Fulham. The Ivory Coast striker has been the marksman for the club for many seasons and with Torres being cup-tied for the FA cup, Drogba will be back in the starting lineup and wanting to prove his prowess for scoring which has been electric for many years, is still burning.
Everton are stumbling pretty badly at the moment with only one victory in 5 games. The toffeemen are 13th in the league but they are still hazardously close to the drop as there are many teams in the bottom half with very few points between them and Everton are 3 points away from the relegation zone. Manager David Moyes will be hoping that the club can gather some momentum and morale with a positive result from the match at Stamford Bridge tomorrow to stand them in good fare for the remainder of the season. The live match takes place at Stamford Bridge and kicks off at 12:30pm.
