Celtic suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to St Johnstone last time round and will be desperately wanting to put that behind them. That defeat puts them a point behind rangers in the SPL table and they will be eager to make up that deficit as soon as possible if they are to reclaim the title back from holders Rangers. St Mirren have made a modest start with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat and won't be pushovers for the bhoys but the hoops will still be expected to win.
