Watch Italy vs Slovenia euro 2012 live 6/9/2011

Italy currently top group C with Slovenia lagging behind in 2nd and when the sides meet next Tuesday, Italy's automatic place in next years finals should be solidified as at the moment they are 5 points clear, with a game in hand. The talking point of the group however is whether Northern Ireland can edge out Slovenia for the playoff position. The ulstermen have a game in hand on the East Europeans and will be hoping they can get positive results against other east european outfits Serbia and Estonia and give themselves a chance of making next years finals with a playoff match.
