Both clubs were held to draws like most of the other premiership teams on the first weekend of premiership action this season so both will be itching for their first 3 points. Norwich's aim will be to consolidate their place in the league and achieve what they couldn't manage when they last came up in 2004. Stoke are on the up with a spot in the europa league qualifiers and a fine showing last season in the FA cup so their aim will be for a healthy top half of the table finish.
