Chelsea go into Sundays clash with Newcastle at Stamford Bridge knowing if Manchester United lose and the title race is still not concluded, they have to beat Newcastle unless United will be crowned champions. Since Chelsea's defeat at Old Trafford last Sunday the title race was 99.9999% over with United only needing 1 point from their 2 last fixtures against Blackburn and Blackpool title. Chelsea will surely not be holding out much hope of United making the single biggest disaster of the club's history by losing their last 2 games, so their sights will be on maintaining a second place finish and a better seeding for next season's champions league campaign.
