Stoke 1 Chelsea 1 football highlights 2/4/11

Report:
It proved to be a stalemate at the Britannia today where Stoke dented Chelsea's title aspirations by holding them to a score draw. Jonathan Walters fired the home team ahead after eight minutes. The champions had their mood raise after Drogba levelled matters on the half hour mark with a header. Stoke however were able to hold on in the second half for a point. Chelsea dejection at the final whistle was evident.

Preview:
Tony Pulis is afraid that Spanish striker, Fernando Torres, will finally set the scoring paper match alight tomorrow after going through his first 5 games without a goal, after his record breaking transfer switch from Liverpool. Pulis is confident the Spaniard will soon exercise his scoring flair but hopes it will be after today's game against his side at the potteries. Pulis said: "Torres is a quality player and it is just a matter of time once he has settled in London and settled at Chelsea he will find his form. The one thing you can guarantee he will start scoring again. I just hope it is not Saturday."

Pulis however is confident his German centre back Robert Huth will be able to keep the Spaniard quiet when the teams face each other on Saturday."Robert will enjoy it and all our lads are really looking forward to the game. He has been a very good signing for us,'' said the Stoke boss. The live match takes place at Stoke's Britannia stadium and kicks off at 3pm.
