FC Copenhagen appear to have an advantage against their glamourous opponents in that the danes have not played since December 7th as they have been experiencing their mid season winter break in Denmark so they will certainly be more fresh than the blues. On the other hand, the break may have made the players more rusty and made it harder for them to adapt to the match speed which will on show from the English champions so the fitness of the players could be a deciding factor in who manages to grasp the upper hand when the sides clash tonight in Denmark.

Chelsea have been in somewhat of a slump since October and have performed well below their usual standards which were set when Jose Mourinho first took over the club. Their last match saw them kicked out of the FA cup by Everton via a penalty shootout and with the premier league a more remote possibility of retaining in May, their only trophy that could be feasibly won is the champions league and also essential for Ancelotti to win if he is to keep his job at Stamford Bridge next season. The live match takes place at the FC Copenhagen staidum and kicks off at 7:45pm.
