Chelsea 7 Ipswich 0 highlights 9/1/11

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is under heavy pressure to stop the run of mediocre and poor results for the blues which has seen them slide in the Premier League and seen them crash out of the Champions League. The FA cup holders will be expected to, on paper, easily brush aside Ipswich, who are struggling in the Coca Cola championship and are under the new appointment of Ian McParland after the sacking of Roy Keane on Friday. A poor result on Sunday could be disastrous for Chelsea's season as the only competition they would have left to fare in is the league, which at the moment, does not look promising for their chances to win.

The Tractor Boys go into the tie under caretake manager Ian McParland after Roy Keane was let go after a dismal display of form resulting in just one win in 9 games and hovering right above the drop zone in the Coca Cola Championship. Last season Ipswich fell at the fourth round stage, 2-1 to Southampton and it will take a mighty effort if they are to achieve that stage this time round. Chelsea and Ipswich met roughly 2 years ago in the fourth roudn stage of the FA cup where goals from Michael Ballack and one from Frank Lampard were enough to secure victory for Chelsea over the Suffolk club.
