Liverpool 1 Swansea 3 football highlights 31/10/2012

The reds of Anfield had a woeful night of it against the welshmen and the holders have been dumped out at the fourth round stage. Swansea out muscled Liverpool and went into the break a goal up after Chico Flores rose high to plant a corner ball into the net with his head.

As the second half progressed, Liverpool were shut out time and time again and Swansea were able to double their lead in the 72nd minute with a goal from Nathan Dyer which put Liverpool up against the wall.

The reds responded 3 minutes later with a goal back from Luis Suarez but the Swans were able to shut out Liverpool despite chances created and they killed the tie off in the final seconds with a goal from Jonathan Guzman to make it 3-1 to Swansea and a dismal night for the reds.

Leeds United v Chelsea

Swansea v Middlesbrough

Norwich v Aston Villa

Bradford City v Arsenal

Ties to be played week commencing December 10. Chelsea's match will be played on December 19 due to participation in FIFA Club World Cup.
