Chelsea 2 Manchester United 3 English Premier League Highlights 28/10/2012

As far as stakes go, the hype couldn't have been built bigger but the game lived up to all the hype and more than did it justice. This was definitely the premiership game of the season so far and was edge of the seat stuff for everybody watching.
United roared into a 2 goal lead in the first 12 minutes with goals from a David Luiz own goal and Van Persie before the United goal was under siege towards the end of the first half with Chelsea looking to pull one back and they did just before the break with a free kick goal from Juan Mata.
Early doors in the second half Ramires equalised for the hosts but then everything went wrong for the blues as first Ivanovic was sent off for hauling down Ashley Young as the last man as he surged in on the goal and shortly afterwards, Fernando Torres was dismissed for diving in a collision with Johnny Evans.
United were able to eventually make their advantage count and scored in the 75th minute with Hernandez following in from short range. Ferguson has complained about not getting the rub of the green in recent league trips to Stamford Bridge. He can't do the same today, especially when Hernandez was actually a fraction offside for the winning goal.
An absolute stunning match and United have closed the gap to just one point at the top.
