Manchester United 3 Manchester City 2 highlights 7/8/2011

The two biggest Manchester clubs contest the curtain raiser to this season's premier league season and the blue half of Manchester will be hoping that the title race will be fought much harder from their side to challenge United's historic dominance of the English League by last season breaking the record set by Liverpool in 1990 and have now won the league 19 times. City have looked to strengthen their defence with the summer signings of Gael Clichy and Stefan Savic whilst United have a new keeper on their books in youngster David DeGea, winger Ashley Young and promising defender Phil Jones from Blackburn. Sunday will see the perfect opportunity for these signings to show their prowess if they get given a run out.
