Stoke 0 Chelsea 0 highlights 14/8/2011

Chelsea had a rare trophyless season last campaign and as a result the brutal axe of Roman Abramovich swung down on Carlo Ancelotti's head. He's been replaced with relative unknown portugese coach andre-villas boa and he will be hoping he can help put the Chelsea team back onto championship winning form. The blues went through a rough patch during October, November and December last season which they never recovered from and the new boss will be hoping to instill a new confidence. By contrasty, Stoke had a relatively proud display last season, reaching the FA cup final only to be beaten by a solitary goal from Man City and maintained a comfortable consolidation of their place in the league with a finish in 13th place. They will be hoping to build on thsi in the coming season.
