Tottenham 0 AC Milan 0 highlights 9/3/11

It was way back in the 80's that the term "glory, glory nights" was first proclaimed by people on Tottenham's adventures in europe and if the North London club manage to squeeze past Milan tonight into the quarter finals then it will be one of the club's greatest achievements. There were many people who were skeptical about Tottenham being able to land a spot in the champions league this season but Redknapp managed to steer them into the top four of the premier league and this season has seen the club cement their lofty status by currently sitting in the top 5 of the premier league alongside a glorious run in the champions league which saw them beat out the holders Inter in the group stage and then record a stunning 1-0 victory at their city rivals San Siro 3 weeks ago.

If Spurs manage to avoid defeat tonight in London then they will find themselves in the last 8 of the competition. The odds look pretty good in their favour as they have won all four matches they have played at home in the competition this season and Milan will have to do without the services of fiery midfielder Rene Gattuso after his spat with Spurs assistant coach Joe Jordan. The live match takes place at white hart lane and kicks off at 7:45pm.
