Blackpool 1 Chelsea 3 highlights 7/3/11

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is stressing that he is still enjoying his first season of management in the premier league despite it making him look "haggard and jaded". The Tangerines who were dismissed by many as finishing the campaign rooted to the bottom started the season in an impressive fashion and at the turn of the year found themselves comfortably treading water in mid-table. However their form since the new year has been shaky and although they managed to achieve wins against Liverpool and high flying Tottenham, they are their only wins in 11 games in the league.

They now find themselves in a precarious position, hovering over the drop zone but with 10 games remaining have enough confidence to believe they will beat the drop and solidify their position in the league. They face the champions at Bloomfield road tonight and in the reverse fixture in September the blues stomped all over the Lancastrians with a 4-0 win. However with Blackpool managing to get results over top teams this term and managing to be beating manchester united 2-0 with a third of the match to play when they faced each other(United went on to win 4-2!) they will not be an easy touch when Chelsea travel to Lancashire today. The live match kicks off at 8pm.
